It is a 3-phase initiative providing 

1. Student participation in Recreational Math Olympiads to establish a knowledge  baseline
2. Training of teachers in mathematical and logical thinking through Jump Math.
3. Repeated student participation in Recreational Math Olympiads to measure growth in knowledge,

We have a unique opportunity to track student performance before and after the teachers have been trained and the program is implemented in the classroom

We have already secured funds for 1000 students to participate in the first phase of the initiative. We need your help to train their approx. 50 teachers and guarantee the same student participation in ORM next year, thus completing the second and third phases of our initiative

The cost of each student to participate in the ORM is $6, and each teacher needs $150 to cover the cost of Jump Math training 

ORM (Olimpiada Recreativa Matematica)  has been an established program in Venezuela for more than 30 yrs. It is available to all students and counts with a reliable implementation process - https://ormve.org/

Jump Math is a program of Canadian origin with international impact for over 20 yrs. It has been implemented successfully in spanish-speaking countries and its licence is available in Venezuela at low cost - https://jumpmath.org/us/

Motores Por La Paz has been implementing Jump Math and running the ORM for several years. They are the logistical tie-in of our initiative and provide a reliable local presence for GV to guarantee the execution of Training the Teachers

AmbLeMa is an organization dedicated to support schools in need. They have direct contact with low achieving students in rural communities who would benefit most from exposure to programs such as ORM, and whose teachers are left out when it comes to academic preparation. AmbLeMa schools will be directly benefited by Training The Teachers and at the same AmbLeMa will help guarantee the educator’s access to internet, time and other resources needed to complete the Jump Math training - https://www.amblema.org/
